| Strategie d'observation | Research and selected voluntary merchant ships equiped with thermosalinographs, maintenance of the equipments, sensor calibration. This equipment measures continuously the salinity and temperature of the sea surface. Regular sea surface water sampling for salinity analysis (in laboratory), for the control of possible sensor drift. Real time data transmission for sensor control and operationnal oceanography needs (assimilation in MERCATOR operational model). | ||
